The ChairScholars Foundation is committed to ensuring the privacy of our donors. Our privacy policy statement explains how we use and protect your personal information. Please read this notice carefully.

Privacy Policy

  1. The ChairScholars Foundation does not sell donor names or nonpublic personal information to any firm or non-profit organization. We do not share your nonpublic personal information with any firm or non-profit organization for its fundraising or solicitation purposes, unless you or your representative explicitly asks us to do so.

  2. The Foundation restricts access to donor information to those employees who need to know the information to provide products or services to you.

  3. The Foundation shares donor information with companies outside the Foundation that perform services on our behalf such as auditors, banks, investment houses, legal counselors and accountants. We share this information for verification purposes, to process transactions, or respond to your inquiries.

  4. The law requires the Foundation to share donor information with government agencies in response to subpoenas or to comply with certain laws.

  5. The Foundation acknowledges donors in Foundation publications. This acknowledgement does not include size of gift or grant. Any donor requesting anonymity will not be acknowledged in Foundation publications.

  6. We reserve the right to review and revise this policy. If we make material changes to this policy, we will post a copy of the revised policy on our web site that describes the changes before they go into effect.
