Hello friends and family! Since many of you have expressed an interest in hearing about my competitions at the Paralympics, I've decided to start a blog where I will post updates and photos of my adventures in Colorado, Japan, and Beijing. Higher education is the most vital link to economic empowerment and self-sufficiency. It is the cornerstone of a healthy community. Yet, an astonishing 73% of physically disabled people can't obtain a post-secondary education due to the monumental financial burden their disability creates. Our purpose is to help physically disabled, disadvantaged young people obtain a college education or vocational training.

The ChairScholars Foundation, Inc. is a 501-(c)-(3) charity based in Tampa, Florida, with chapters in New York, NY and Sarasota, Florida.

We have two scholarship programs; the National Program and the Florida Program:

National Program
The National Program is availiable to high school seniors and college freshmen from Maine to Hawaii - and everywhere in between. This scholarship provides up to $20,000, distributed over four years, for tuition at the students' college of choice.

Florida Program
The Florida Program is available to students attending public schools in the Florida counties of Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Polk, Volusia, and Sarasota. These scholarships provide either full tuition for a bachelor’s degree through the Florida university system or tuition assistance for vocational training.

Join us at the world famous Carolines on Broadway in New York City for a night of comedy, cocktails and a silent auction. The funds raised at this night of hilarity support a very serious cause – our mission of providing college scholarships for low-income young American people with physical disabilities.
