No physical impairment should deter a motivated mind

Higher education is the most vital link to economic empowerment and self-sufficiency. It is the cornerstone of a healthy community. Yet, an astonishing 73% of physically disabled people can't obtain a post-secondary education due to the monumental financial burden their disability creates. Our purpose is to help physically disabled, disadvantaged young people obtain a college education or vocational training.

13th Annual ChairScholars Festival

We held our 13th Annual ChairScholars Festival on Saturday, April 25th. There were adaptive games, art activities, entertainment and much more!

We awarded over 50 new scholarships and ended the day with a delicious barbeque dinner!

The Festival was held at the ChairScholars Foundation,

We have two scholarship programs; the National Program and the Florida Program:

National Program
The National Program is availiable to high school seniors and college freshmen from Maine to Hawaii - and everywhere in between. This scholarship provides up to $20,000, distributed over four years, for tuition at the students' college of choice.

Florida Program
The Florida Program is available to students attending public schools in the Florida counties of Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Polk, Volusia, and Sarasota. These scholarships provide either full tuition for a bachelor’s degree through the Florida university system or tuition assistance for vocational training
